TAD NewsDesk, New Delhi: Under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the Central government provides financial aid of Rs 6,000 to farmers every year. The money is been given to the farmers in three equal installments of Rs. 2000 each. The scheme was first launched on 1st December, 2018.
From 1st December, 2020, the government has started the distribution of the seventh installment of the PM Kisan Yojana. Every year, the government starts the third installment in between December to March.
In this time of the year, the farmers are supposed to check the status of the payment. If the beneficiaries have not yet received the due amount, they can contact the PM Kisan helping numbers or agriculture department official numbers.
Farmers can check PM Kisan status by two means:
- Government’s official website
- PM-Kisan mobile app
How to check the PM Kisan status?
- First of all, visit the official website of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana – pmkisan.gov.in.
- After this, go to Farmers Corner at the right hand side of the homepage.
- Now click on the option that says ‘Beneficiary Status’.
- Then enter Aadhaar number or account number or mobile number in the space provided.
- Finally click get report.
