TAD NewsDesk, New Delhi: The farmers have decided to continue their protest against the government and the three Centre farm laws. The farmers would continue the protest in the states where upcoming polls are due.
Farmers would send their teams to these states to strike a rapport with the people.
Balbir S Rajewal of the Bhartiya Kisan Union said,
“We will not support any party but will appeal people to vote for the candidates who can defeat BJP. We will tell the people about Modi govt’s attitude towards farmers.”
Meanwhile, farmers and labourers have decided to join hands together to fight the battle towards privatisation and against the Centre farm laws.
Farmer leader, Yogendra Yadav said
“On March 15, labourers and employees will take to streets across the country against privatisation and corporatization. Farmers will join them.”
These states which have the upcoming elections will have it at risk to let the farmers protest against the contesting party. Farmers have been protesting for a very long time demanding the repealing of the laws.
There have been 11 meetings that have taken place between the government and the farmers but no resolution has been reached yet. And the protest is still continuing.
