Centre to release the 8th installment of the PM Kisan Yojana scheme possibly by March

West Bengal government has recently agreed to avail the benefit of the scheme

TAD NewsDesk, New Delhi: The 7th installment of the PM Kisan Yojana scheme was released by PM Modi on 25th of December, 2020. Rs 18,000 crores has been transferred into the bank accounts of over 9 crore farmers. The next installment is expected to be released in March.

The Centre has been helping the farmers with this scheme by putting money into their bank accounts. Government transfers Rs 6000 to the farmers account every year in three installments. The aim of PM Kisan yojana is to help farmers of every state by providing them monetary help to do various agricultural activities.

The small and marginal farmers can register can register themselves to get this aid by the government.

In order to register online, farmers have to visit the official website – https://pmkisan.gov.in/.

The Mamta Benerjee led West Bengal government has also agreed for this scheme and hence the eighth installment will help the farmers of West Bengal too.

CM Mamta has asked the centre to provide with the details so that she can carry it forward. As soon as the Mamta government agreed to implement PM Kisan Yojana, Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar asked her to complete the necessary procedures. He also appealed to appoint a nodal officer.

The next instalment that is the eighth one is expected to be disbursed in March and it is expected to have an increase in the amount.
