Farmers Protest: Farmer’s block KMP expressway in Haryana; Traffic Diverted

Farmers are all set to big lump as they are getting great support from farmers, villagers, and urban cities.

TAD NewsDesk, Haryana: Samyukt Kisan Morcha who has been leading the farmers protest since its onset. Presently it is also responsible for blockade of 135 km long Kundli- Manesar-Palwal and the 135 Km- long Kundli- Ghaziabad-Palwal expressways from Saturday Morning till Sunday Morning. In response to which Haryana Police has directed people to avoid those roadways.

Darshan Pal Singh, the protestor Kisan Union, said the blockade has started at 8:00 A.M today [Saturday], and it will last tomorrow at 8:00 A.M [Sunday]. Farmers at the Tikri border will block the expressway at Kundli; they will not allow the vehicles to move on that expressway. Participants of the BKU, Baghpat unit, would handle the protest at the toll plaza between Khekra- Baghpat, and farmers at Ghazipur would block the traffic at Dasna. He added that however, the emergency services will remain unhampered.

Farmers emphasized that they won’t stop the emergency services because its against humanity but they won’t stop their protest until their demands are met and the government take back the three farm laws.

Farmers are all set to big lump as they are getting great support from farmers, villagers, and urban cities.

Farmers have been protesting against the three Centre farm laws since last year. They have had several meetings with the government to discuss the issue as the protest was continuing in the Delhi borders since long but no resolution has been reached yet. The farmers are firm in their resolute that they won’t accept anything less than the repealing of the laws.
