SC : Delhi Police to decide the fate of the tractor rally on 26th of January

TAD NewsDesk, New Delhi: Farm Unions have been constantly speaking of the tractor rally to be held on 26th of January. The Supreme Court has left the decision on the Delhi Police to decide on the entry of the rally into the capital.

A petition has been filed in the SC to ban the tractor rally on 26th of January. The petition was heard but the SC refused to do so and left the decision on the Delhi police.

Bharatiya Kisan Union President Bhupinder Singh Mann has already refused to be the part of the committee. And, farmers’ organizations have also refused to go with the decision of committee.

The predecided meeting to be held today between the farmers and the government has been postponed till tomorrow. Agricultural Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said that the government is ready to negotiate with farmers’ organizations on all the concerned issues with an open mind.

The farmers unions though have refused to participate in the committee’s findings, it is ready to keep the discussion going on the laws with the government.

The farmers have been protesting in Delhi since November 2020 and are willing to continue the protest till their demands are met.
