Shakti Pumps makes solar water pumps along with submersible, centrifugal and openwell pumps, motors and controllers for agricultural, industrial, residential and commercial use, the company says. Its solar pumps range from 1HP to 60HP, and it says it is a channel partner of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India, with a performance rating of 1A. Its website also offers pump selection, cable selection and solar calculator tools.
The company’s corporate office is in Indore and its factory is in Pithampur, Dhar district, Madhya Pradesh. It says it has been in the pump business for more than four decades and has operations spanning more than 100 countries.
