Marches Biogas is an anaerobic digestion (AD) engineering company offering plant design, construction, commissioning and decommissioning, operator training and e-learning, and operational support covering biology, feedstock, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation work, safety checks and regulatory and permitting matters, the company says. It says it has built more than 30 AD plants, from 50 kWe to large-scale facilities, using feedstocks including energy crops, farm slurries, food and industrial wastes, and works in the agricultural, waste and water sectors in the UK, the US, Europe and elsewhere.
The company was formed in 2009 and is based in Ludlow, Shropshire. Its website states that it has been acquired by Glanua, a Galway-based engineering company working in water, wastewater and energy infrastructure in the UK and Ireland.
