National Milk Records (NMR) provides milk recording, herd health testing, genomic testing and milk quality services to dairy farmers, and payment, antibiotic and other testing to milk processors through National Milk Laboratories, the company says. Its software includes Herd Companion, its online portal for milk recording, bulk tank milk quality and disease test results, and it supplies the InterHerd+ and UNIFORM-Agri herd management packages. It also sells cattle, sheep and goat tags.
NMR was formed in 1943 and has its head office, laboratory and transport facility at Four Ashes, Wolverhampton, with a second laboratory in Glasgow. The company says AB Agri completed its acquisition of NMR in August 2023 and that NMR continues to trade independently as a limited company.
