Harbro manufactures livestock feeds for beef cattle, sheep, dairy cows, pigs and poultry at sites in Scotland and England, the company says. It also runs an on-farm mobile milling, mixing and processing service that uses home-grown cereals, available across the UK, and a network of Harbro Country Stores and Murray Farmcare stores from Cumbria to Shetland that supply animal health products, farming supplies and other rural goods.
Established in Scotland, Harbro says it has supplied livestock nutrition to farmers since 1977. It is privately owned and based in Turriff, Aberdeenshire, and says its international division exports to more than 25 countries through local distributors. The group also includes Strathclyde Nutrition Ltd, which contract manufactures animal feed buckets and blocks, and Transpan (Scotland) Ltd, according to its website.
