Koppert UK supplies biological crop protection and pollination products to growers. Its range covers predatory mites, predatory insects, parasitoid wasps, beneficial nematodes and beneficial microorganisms for pest and disease control, and bumblebee hives for pollination, for protected vegetables, ornamentals, fruit, outdoor vegetables and arable crops.
The company says Koppert began in 1967, when cucumber grower Jan Koppert started using the predatory mite Phytoseiulus persimilis (Spidex) against spider mite, that it introduced bumblebees for greenhouse pollination in 1988, and that it is a family company. Products named on the UK site include Spidex Vital, Swirski-Mite, Limonica, Trianum and Natupol hives. The UK office is in Haverhill, Suffolk, and the site lists resellers and a Koppert One app with a digital assistant.
