Field Margin Ltd, trading as fieldmargin, makes farm management software for phones and computers. Its registered office is in London. The company says the app grew out of its founder’s experience of taking over his family’s farming business in Hertfordshire, that it started in 2014 and that thousands of farmers around the world now use it.
The app is built around a farm map. Users can map fields and features, import RPA field boundaries in the UK or boundaries from MyJohnDeere, plan rotations, split fields into sub-fields, plan and record field jobs and inputs, manage livestock and grazing, and share maps and jobs with staff, agronomists and contractors. Other features include Field Health NDVI analysis, scouting, pesticide checking, reporting and a Drone Deploy integration for overlaying drone imagery. The company says the app works offline.
