Aries Agro manufactures micronutrients and other plant and animal nutrition products. The company says it was founded in 1969 by Dr T. B. Mirchandani and Mrs Bala Mirchandani, started with mineral feed additives for animals and birds, and moved into plant nutrients in 1975 with chelated micronutrients. It names Agromin, a chelated micronutrient fertiliser, and Chelamin, chelated zinc, as its flagship brands.
The company says it added secondary nutrients (sulphur, magnesium and calcium) in 2001 and later water-soluble NPK complexes. Its range also covers organic and bio products, slow-release fertilisers, plant protection, aquaculture and animal nutrition, and hydroponics consultancy. It lists branches and factories in Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, a company in Dubai, Amarak Chemicals FZC, and a head office in Mumbai.
