TAD NewsDesk, New Delhi: Delhi CM, Arvind Kejriwal has been put on house arrest after his alleged meeting with the farmers said AAP. Delhi Police has denied all such allegations. CM Kejriwal went to meet the farmers on Monday.
AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj said in a statement that the CM’s residence has been barricaded completely after his meeting with the farmers. Nobody can go in or come out of the residence. Some of the party MLA’s who went for a meeting at CM Kejriwal’s residence yesterday were also beaten up.
He added,
“Workers were not allowed to meet him either. BJP leaders are being made to sit outside his residence.”
Delhi Police however have reiterated from any such claims and tweeted,
“This claim of CM Delhi being put on house arrest is incorrect. He exercises his right to free movement within the law of the land. A picture of the house entrance says it all.”
On his visit to the Singhu border to meet the farmers, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said to the reporters,
“I am not present here as a Chief Minister, I have come here as a sewadar, I have come here to serve the farmers. The farmers put in all their hard work and efforts and grow food for us. They are in a huge problem today, and it is the responsibility of all the citizens of the country to stand with the farmers and work for their service.”
He also emphasized that he was under immense pressure to convert nine of the stadiums into temporary jail but have refused.
This serious claim has been led by the AAP government and the Delhi Police is denying it currently. More information is awaited to get a proper outlook of the situation.
