TAD NewsDesk, NEW DELHI: The world’s second-largest LPG marketer, Indane is planning to introduce a fuel-efficient LPG Cylinder ‘Extra Tez’ in the market. The LPG cylinder’s launch was announced on 24th September in light of the upcoming Indian festival season.
Indane claims that the new profitable gas cylinder guarantees to save 5 to 7 per cent in the fuel expenditure of consumers.
Indane is a Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) brand developed and owned by Indian Oil Corporation in India.
S.K.M. Vaidya, Chairman and Managing Director of Indian Oil Corporation felt elated to announce the distribution of 19 kg of the ‘Extra Tez’ gas cylinders as Diwali gifts to its customers. Mr Vaidya also informed the media during a discussion that the research scientists at Indane had innovated new types of LPG.
As a result of the continuous experiments, Indane ultimately discovered a unique type of LPG with boosted combustion efficiency. Indane is all set to release the cylinders to its industrial and commercial customers after its efficacy was judged through several phases of testing.
The Indian Oil Corporation has already given the green signal to the production of the LPG cylinders, initially beginning with 12 plants.
However, there is no evident reduction in prices with the induction of new LPG cylinders. On the plus side, customers will not have to cough up any extra amount to purchase the recently launched cylinders. Hopefully, by the end of the year, the advanced, cost-effective cylinders would be ready for delivery throughout India.
